General Educational Objectives



A broad educational experience in pediatrics, and family medicine are essential if the observer/intern is to understand infants, children, adolescents, adults in health and sickness, and to deal effectively with their physical, mental, emotional, and social problems. It is an excellent combined observer ship rotation highly in demand when applying for residency.

Expectations





Your participation in our program will:


• Allow observers/interns to collaborate with physicians and medical staff, gaining insight into primary care and routine care in a clinical environment.


• Help improve observers/interns skills to observe physician interactions with patients (history taking, examination, diagnosis, treatment, coding, writing prescriptions, and entering information on the patient’s electronic chart, etc.).


• Develop observers/interns professional communication and interaction as you participate in urgent care and routine care consultations.



If a customized rotation is required, please advise when you send your request and we will do our best to achieve it. All fees are in Canadian Dollars The fund can be paid either in cash on the day of your start or by Credit Card (before your arrival) 3% will be added for the above fees if the fund is paid by credit card. For all the above rotations; a LOR is provided if requested and the admin fees for the LOR are included in the price of the rotation. Refunds: 50% refund if cancellation less than 7 business days from the start of the rotation. Cancellations of more than 10 business days before the start of rotation; 20% of admin fees will be applied.
